This 100G QSFP28 Passive Direct Attach Copper Twinax Cable is programmed with standard Cisco compatible EEPROM coding on both connector ends.
It provides a short-distance 100GBASE-CR4 connection between compatible QSFP28 Ethernet ports without requiring separate optical modules or fiber patch cables.
This is a normal Cisco compatible coded cable. It does not contain a special advanced encryption code and does not encrypt transmitted network Standard Cisco Compatible EEPROM coding on both ends
