I need a non gaming laptop for work so I'm selling this.

The 2024 model has two notable improvements over the 2023 model and other gaming handhelds (in my opinion):

The 2024 model has a 120Hz VRR (variable refresh rate) screen with AMD FreeSync Premium like the ROG Ally and the upcoming Rog Ally X. It is a landscape screen so it should run older games natively without any screen rotation issues.

The 2024 model also has a USB A (10Gbps) port which means a low profile flash drive can be added to expand storage or run Batocera or other possibilities without having anything dangling or sticking out from the system. Note: GPD did remove the Oculink port to make way for the USB-A port. The 2024 model still remains the (2) USB-C ports, one of which is USB4.
