for theApple II+ IIe IIc IIGS & OthersThis is a brand new 5.25" floppy disk notcher made by The Apple2OnlineStore based on a design by Ivan Platonov, with the Apple II logo embossed on the base. Unlike a lot of other modern notchers, this makes a square notch!

This notcher's design produces clean cuts precisely where needed! And this colorful notcher features a nice peach color body with the red Apple with green leaf logo. This new version 2 has a longer base for added stability when punching, and collects the chads in the base, emptied by removing the rubber plug on the underside. This single piece design means there is no pieces to separate while punching.

Very simple to use: just align the disk, press the lever & the disk is ready to be written on the back side. Works great & makes perfect square notches!

The notcher will work with disks for the Apple II series, Atari, Commodore, TRS-80 and any other system that used soft-sectored single sided disks where the drive did not use the index hole.

There are other ones of similar design on , all with the same punching hardware, but ours are better according to people who have had bad experiences with the 2-piece units (which separate while punching the notch).
