Price: US $2249.99
This listing is for a WORKING ORIGINAL IBM 5170 PC AT 2 Floppy Drives, Keyboard, AMDEK 310-A Monitor in good tested as working vintage used condition.IBM PC-AT:
We have owned this computer since 1983 and it has been stored in a climate controlled area the entire duration. All components are extremely clean and well maintained; shows minor wear and tear in the form of a few scratches, scuffs, and minor paint loss on tops side (monitor foot scratch probably). I didn't see any cracks to the facia panel, plastic color is still good and the labels are well affixed. All the card slot covers are present and the back is completely sealed. Pin outs are in good condition. PSU fan runs. SYSDYNE video card. Decent bit of memory. 62940 bytes or roughly 64kb of free memory / RAM. Full height HDD. 5.25" and 3.5" floppy drives. Computer has a "Version C1.10 Copyright IBM Corp 1981" dated BIOS / DOS at start up post (see photos). There 'might' be a boot disk in the 10 5.25" floppy disks included.Boots, but the power supply unit (PSU) is failing (magic smoke, capacitors popping) (see photo with finger pointing at smoke AND video).A bit manic in the video trying to confirm the source of the smoke. I would not recommend running it for more than a minute or so to avoid damage or stinking the place up. The unit boots up and runs fine, it was sitting in my photo rig running while I was trying to find my DOS command card, when I heard a small pop and magic smoke started pouring out the PSU. A second pop later, so I rekon the power supply unit is blowing capacitors and is in the process of failing. I let it sit overnight and booted it for a very short period to the prompt post to ensure it's still booting and it was fine; you'll need a PSU!
IBM Keyboard:
IBM Personal Computer AT keyboard works perfectly and is in very good physical condition despite some minor plastic discoloration; label on the back is still 85-90% intact. All the keys are intact and well fitted. Stands are intact and adjustments fit tightly. Cord is great.
AMDEK Monitor:
AMDEK Video 310-A Monitor (Orange Text / Image), Labeled as a D-12C, and produced on Feb 1985 in Taiwan. Small bit of paint loss to the gray bit near the top of the screen border up and left from the AMDEK logo. Actual screen material is this wild textured stuff and it's in excellent condition. All the power, contrast adjustment knobs and switches work, additional manual settings are on the back left of the monitor. Both cord are in excellent condition.Accessories:
Ten 5.25" floppy disks and hard storage case are included; getting a bit hard to find, please format them as any previous files are from my fathers office. There 'might' be a boot disk floppy disks included (likely unlabled), in addition to WordPerfect and others. Floppy disks are in unknown condition. I did not get a chance to inspect the HDD contents/floppy disks due to the PSU issue. 25 Pin Parallel Cord, 5 Pin Adapters (QTY 2), and NEW 6-Pin DIN PLUG included.Includes:
