MacBook 2008
Description
This is a 13" vintage MacBook, the non-Pro unibody kind from 2008 with the lever mechanism on the bottom that lets you access the battery and storage drive. I upgraded the RAM to its maximum of 8GB and installed a 160GB SSD to replace the slow mechanical drive. It's got a 1280 x 800 display and a 2.0 GHz Core 2 Duo processor.
It's running a dual-boot configuration with El Capitan and Snow Leopard. The former is the most modern MacOS it'll run; the latter has Rosetta, so you can open a lot of PowerPC software if that's your need.
The casing has some minor scuffs. There are two minor problems. First, the trackpad doesn't always recognize clicks; you need to bear down firmly. To compensate I set up tap-to-click in the control panel. Second, the battery has a "Service Battery" alert. It still gets an hour or two, but I wouldn't consider it reliable for working unplugged. Other than that, the whole thing works great.
Comes with an original MagSafe charger.

I ship everywhere. If 's shipping calculator doesn't show a shipping rate for your country, message me and I'll get you one.
I pack very securely in thick cardboard containers, custom-built for each item. Anything even slightlydelicate will be secured with shock-absorbent foam. If I'm shipping something that breaks easily, like glassware ora boombox, I'll double-box it with two ridiculously thick layers of padding.
Insurance and Tracking
All shipping rates within Canada include full insurance and tracking. Outside Canada, all my shipping rates except Small Packet include full insurance and tracking. Small Packet is the cheapest economy rate - it lacks insurance and tracking options. Please keep this in mind.Returns
