The Supermicro X9DRH-7F is a great server board with lots of PCI Express 3.0 expansion, 10 SATA ports with support for RAID 0, 1, 5, or 10 (depending on which ports you use) and an on-board SAS RAID controller for up to 16 drives with support for RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, or 60. The SAS RAID controller has 1GB of cache, and also included is a LSI backup battery. This board also has dual Gigabit LAN ports, with a third LAN port dedicated for the integrated IPMI 2.0 and KVM.
