OutBack Power HUB10.3 Communications Hub 10 Ports.

The OutBack Power Systems HUB10.3 System Communications Manager allows the interconnection of up to ten OutBack power conversion devices with the OutBack MATE. The interconnection creates a completely integrated Power System that is coordinated and managed by the MATE.

The OutBack HUB communicates stacking phase, load share, incremental start-up and shut down information directly between the inverters. Interconnection cabling is standard CAT5 eight wire with RJ45 modular jacks. The HUB is powered via any FX inverter/charger or MX60.

The OutBack HUB10.3 allows the MATE to control up to eight FX series inverters/chargers or up to 10 devices of any combination.

  The cabling from the HUB to the FX inverters/chargers, MX60 PV MPPT charge controller and MATE uses standard CAT5 type computer cable. Consult your local inspector for specific installation requirements. The current and voltage in the communication cable is limited to less than 30 volts DC and considered to be a “limited energy circuit”. No conduit should be required.

  The HUB utilizes a snap on wiring cover to protect cabling, eliminate accidental unplugging of cables, and to provide a clean looking installation. This solid black cover unsnaps with a screw driver gently prying in the provided slots.

  No, HUBs are not designed to be daisy chained.

  Exchanges or Returns
  Please contact us before returning or exchanging an item to receive a return authorization (RA). Items returned to us without receiving a return authorization will be returned to you at your expense. We accept exchanges and returns for unopened items or damaged/defective products within 30 days of receipt of shipment. A 20% restocking fee may apply to multiple quantity returns or large ticket items. A 20% restocking fee will apply for all products that ship freight. Exchanges and returns are not accepted after 30 days of receipt of shipment.Unopened Products
  To make an exchange or return for an unopened product, please contact us and obtain a Return Authorization. If the exchanged or returned product is unopened with all original accessories, manuals, packaging, and/or shrink wrap, you will be responsible for return shipping. If the product was sold with free shipping, shipping charges to deliver the item will be deducted from the refund amount. A refund to your method of payment will be processed within one week of receiving an authorized return minus any applicable shipping charges.Damaged/Defective Products
  To make an exchange or return for a damaged/defective product, please contact us and obtain a Return Authorization. If the product is returned for being damaged/defective, we will provide a return shipping label for domestic shipping costs. If we test and confirm the product is damaged/defective and receive the product along with all original accessories, manuals, and packing, we will provide a refund for the purchase price of the product, plus domestic shipping charges, if any, assessed at the time of purchase. International shipping charges, if any, will not be reimbursed. A refund to your method of payment will be processed within one week of receiving an authorized return.
