Up for sales is one (1) set of Datanetics Rev B keyboard replica for use with Apple 1 replicas. Over 200 sets sold. Now working with Replica 1 with different adapter option (just let me know before I ship) !!
The whole set is designed and hand-assembled from scratches by myself:1. The keyboard PCB is designed as per original schematics but it takes Cherry MX keyswitches which are commonly available. Black switches are used as they give closest press field as the original Datanetics switches.2. The keycaps are tailor-made using dye sublimation process and legends follow the original Datanetics keyboards. XDA keycaps are used as they have closest shape as the originals but are still obtainable. Note, the spacebar is 7U long which is slightly shorter than the ones (8U long, 1 switch longer) used in the originals; 8U spacebar can only be custom-made and the manufacturers charge high.3. A adapter board is designed to allow two clear screen / reset modes - either Apple II mode or Byte shop mode. It has LED light to show the Apple 1 and keyboard receive power (+5V). NOTE: This black adapter can ONLY work with Apple 1 lookalike clones (eg Mimeo, Newton, Open gerber), if you need to use the keyboard with Replica 1 or any board having the same keyboard pinouts as Apple II, please let me know so I can include the correct adapter (I make it in white).4. The MM5740AAE/N encoder is designed based on ATMEGA microcontroller. You will receive keyboard with black-colored encoder. (UPDATE: The coding is just updated for faster key scan with better response to multiple presses on the same key and \"Rub Out\" is assigned as backspace without the need to press CONTROL at the same time)

This is Plug-n-play and No wiring or soldering is needed! This keyboard is tested working with Newton boards (both NTI, non-NTI) and assembled boards being sold by another seller. Each set is serialized and you will receive one with a different number from that shown in the photos. Note, the provided adapter is used with Apple 1 ONLY, if you try to use the keyboard for other computers, you need to make your own adapter at your own risk, since any wrong connection may damage the keyboard encoder or even your computer board!
