The printer also has a time to first page of less than 15 seconds for both color and black prints.
The scanner has a maximum optical resolution of up to 1200 x 2400 dpi (from document glass) and can scan up to 52ipm (black/color) simplex and up to 104ipm (black/color) duplex. 2-sided scan speeds of 100ipm colour and mono.
This printer has a built-in NFC card reader, Wireless 802.11 b/g/n, Gigabit Ethernet, Hi-Speed USB 2.0. It is compatible with AirPrint, Brother iPrint&Scan, Mopria, Wi-Fi Direct, NFC+.
