Please Note:
This kit contains all Radial Capacitors to suit most board revisions. If your board needs the 4 x 220uF capacitors to be axial leaded, please ask about the special kit (not available with polymer capacitors).
* An extra 100uF capacitor is included. This is only needed on one revision of the board, but is included for completeness.
Polymer capacitors are more expensive than standard electrolytics, but have the following advantages:
Lower ESR/higher allowable ripple current
No dry-out behaviour (unlike aluminium capacitors)
Higher expected lifetime/load life
