The Adtran NetVanta 3430 is a modular access router for converged data and voice networks. The 1200820E1 provides a single modular slot that can offer up to two T1 circuits worth of bandwidth. The NetVanta 3430 also offers dual 10/100 Base-T Ethernet ports for LAN segmentation, DMS applications, or broadband backup. The NetVanta 3430 offers a stateful inspection firewall that protects against Denial of Service attacks. The 1200820E1 supports Network Address Translation that is NAT compliant, has a DHCP server, and offers Quality of Service (QoS) capabilities. The Adtran NetVanta 3430 supports modular cards that can be used to provide WAN access including T1 circuits and 56k/64k circuits.
