Apple II Plus Computer, 64K Ram

This listing is for a vintage Apple II Plus computer from circa 1979-1982. The system is functioning BUT BEFORE offerDING, please read the notes below concerning vintage computers. To get this Apple II Plus working, a new ReActiveMicro Ultimate Power Supply was installed in 2021 (a $105 value) and all DRAM chips on the main board were replaced with new (23 chips, Motorola MCM4116BP20, a $75 value). All other components and the main board appear to be original. The computer has a functioning language card installed expanding the ram memory from 48K to 64K. A Disk II 5 1/4" floppy disk drive and controller card is included along with an operating system disk and a diagnostics disk.
Items included:
Apple II Plus Computer, 64K with Language Card (1) Disk II 5 1/4" Floppy Disk Drive S/N 352641 and Controller Board5 1/4" Floppy Disks including DOS 3.3 and a Diagnostics Test Disk120 VAC Power Cord*** IMPORTANT NOTE ON VINTAGE COMPUTERS ***DUE TO THE AGE OF THIS SYSTEM, NO RETURNS WILL BE ACCEPTED.Obviously, vintage computer systems are full of aged components and they will not last forever. Please make sure you are familiar with the technology before buying. While I was able to get this computer working there could be unnoticed defects. Before powering up any vintage Apple II with the original power supply, it is important to test or replace the power supply (already done on this system in 2021). The original power supplies are prone to failure and a faulty power supply could damage other computer components. This vintage computer system is described to the best of my ability and no claims are made beyond what is posted.
What to expect from this vintage Apple II Plus:
1. The system boots up and passes the memory diagnostics test.2. The disk drive will load a disk (depending on the condition of the disk). According to the diagnostics test, the disk drive is working at about 70% (see test screen photo).3. Due to age, the keyboard keys may not register every time there is a key press. Usually this is with heavily used keys like "Return" or the "Space Bar". On this system, the "Return" key function is intermittent.4. The speaker and power light are working.
Many vintage systems will not work with a modern or computer monitor. This system outputs a composite video signal with RCA connectors. This should make it work with most displays which can accept RCA, however not all displays or LCD TVs will support the composite video output. For a solution, ReActiveMicro offers many parts for the Apple II and their Mini AV2HDMI Video Adapter Kit will convert the composite video output to HDMI. Or, ReactiveMicro offers a 12″ LCD Display suitable for the composite video input. Check the ReactiveMicro website for detailed descriptions.
