1985 Commodore AMIGA 1000 CPU only Powers On + 256 Ram XM1184672 Signed untested
Price: US $595.00
This is a Commodore AMIGA 1000 computer from 1985.As you can see, this listing is for the CPU only--there is nothing else with it. We are selling it AS IS. Maybe it boots clean, maybe not. Maybe you fix it up; maybe you use it for parts; or maybe just want to add it to the collection! We got this in a small group of computers from a collector. His other units ran fine, bt we could not test this one.Inside the front panel there is a shiny metallic 256 RAM unit, pictured. I suspect this is additional to whatever is inside on the motherboard, but I could be wrong--I trust you know what you are looking at.CPU:Serial number XM 1184672FCC ID: BR99ZYB-1000Model 1000120V60HZ2AThe 256 RAM unit in the front is a shiny metal that did not come out in the pics. It has the ID HB 102805.When I took the top case off, I noticed the inside of the case has the signatures of what I suspect is the team that put it together--these signatures are embossed into the plastic. Interestingly, the signatures include Jay Miner and the PAW print of his dog, Mitchy. Also inside the case is "32 7002-01 REV A."The outer case is dirty, so you will want to clean. I know most collectors have their own preferred methods. We did power it on with a cord from another computer, and it sounded like it was booting up, and the fan came on. It was quiet except for some whirring and some ticking. The light on the front panel does not seem to be working.CONDITION: No monitor--just the CPU as you see. Plugged in and it powered up, fan came on, and I could hear internals clicking. Very quiet. Light on front face did not come on. Do not have monitor to see what it is doing. Cosmetically, the case is dirty. We leave things like that cleaning to you. Case has the usual age related discoloration. Front panel is a little loose-fitting. 1985 Commodore AMIGA 1000 CPU only Powers On + 256 Ram XM1184672 Signed untested 1985 Commodore AMIGA 1000 CPU only Powers On + 256 Ram XM1184672 Signed untested
