The device came not powering up... and I was sad. I opened it and reseated connectors, but also found that the internal battery had not voltage, so i put a power supply accross it. While I am waiting for a new battery, i think this battery might even be taking a charge!. The device started in strange ways reserrecting it self. I soldered some cold solder joints too, not sure that mattered BUT mainly it seems to be working (with a stripe of 2 missing character lines in the middle of the 8).
