The keyboard can be separated from the computer, and usually you detach the keyboard by pulling on the turn down levers, but the lower set of levers are broken off, the way you can detach the keyboard is by pushing the latches through the holes on the sides of the computer. The other thing I noticed is the fan is loud, but I am told that is the way they are.
