This system was pretty much the pinnacle of the Windows 98/98SE experience! It absolutely rocks at games of the era. This would be an excellent DOS gaming unit, or a perfect platform for your industrial controller software! This was a $3,000 dollar system back in the day! They don't make them like this anymore! It's been optimized for performance. This is an excellent machine, professionally restored to full-working order with Windows 98SE! Cleaned inside and out and packed with plenty of bubble wrap! Minor wear to be expected.

Processor / CPU: To begin, the processor is a powerful Socket 478 "Northwood" core, Intel Pentium 4 Processor @ 2.0 - 2.8GHZ. This was the fastest processor this motherboard supports! This is a classic Pentium 4, perfect for most DOS games of the era. A heat sink and ball-bearing fan is installed for active cooling.
Motherboard: This motherboard features the rock-solid, genuine Intel i845G chipset featuring three (3) PCI slots! Perfect for your industrial controller software! Also features a serial port and parallel port. Unit uses a standard P/S2-style keyboard and mouse. A new CMOS battery has been installed, good for years!
Storage & Memory: Storage is provided by a Seagate or Western Digital 20-80GBGB IDE Hard Drive (size may vary depending on stock) and has tons of free space! Drive has been verified with Seagate's' software and passed. Unit features a full 256MB of Ultra-High speed DDR-2, much more than enough for Windows 98SE. (Remember, Windows 98SE was not designed to handle anything above 512MB, so this is more than enough for most tasks). DOS can only handle up to 4MB, so this machine is extremely well equipped for both DOS and Windows 98SE. Memory checks out fine with Memtest'86.
The 1.44 floppy drive has been verified to be in good working order. Excellent for playing all those classic games!
Unit will work with USB thumb drives, for easy transfer of software from newer systems. Please remove USB drives when restarting computer.
A PCI 10/100/1000 Ethernet Port is fully functional.
Multimedia: A fully-functional CD-ROM was used as the optical drive. The system also includes a quality Crystal-based 16-bit PCI audio card for great DOS gaming experience as well! Digital Audio support as well as full sterei audio Support. (Fully SoundBlaster Compatible!). Optical drive has also installed in DOS mode for loading your vintage DOS games! Video: This is running on the Intel 845GL Video board with 8MB of video memory. This is more than adequate for most DOS games and the vast majority of Windows 98SE games.
Software: Unit is running Windows 98SE or Windows NT SP6 with all drivers and devices correctly loaded. (Upon request, I can load Windows 95, but I will not guarantee all devices will function completely, as Win95 drivers may not be available) DOS mode has optical drivers loaded. Windows memory managers have been loaded to maximize resources. Classic Norton Utilities is installed and has verified and optimized the hard drive. Windows COA is attached to the case. Unit can be booted to a standard DOS prompt for low-level software or gaming! All drivers used are in folder under My Documents, ready to burn to CD. If you elect to have Windows NT installed, be aware that it has a number of hardware-related limitations.
This system was carefully tested and all devices are loaded correctly. Being as this system is over a decade old, this is a final sale. I am not responsible for technical support beyond getting the system up and running. If you are working with vintage systems, some troubleshooting experience is expected on your part.
