A great nvme m.2 with mid to highend performance at a lowend price
For $85 it's hard to really say anything negative about the hp ex920 512gb m.2. I get 2800MB read and 1600-1700MB write which is the advertised speed and really boosts startup speed if used as an os drive. I was previously using a 500gb 860evo for windows and this is noticeably faster. I really didn't expect to notice much in regular use but the ex920 made mostly everything a good deal snappier in the os and shaved another few seconds off of the boot up time. It was incredibly easy to install and seems to stay fairly cool. I haven't had it long enough to comment on reliability but it does have a 5 year warranty which puts most of my worries at ease. The only reason why this isn't a 5 star product is because of the flashing red light and just last week bought the 1tb version for $130 which ... Even at $85 for the 512gb version it's a good deal. You don't normally see drives this quick and this size under $100.

Lightning fast, simple to install/setup, amazingly inexpensive.
Amazing! Bought new HP desktop computer two weeks ago and knew nothing about SSD drives until I saw that it has the M.2 NVMe slot and learned about them. Great price for quality drive. Plugged right in, downloaded free clone software to copy C: drive then unplugged hard drive so running on SSD only. It's been a week, system running flawlessly and lightning fast. Boots up in a few seconds, programs load almost instantaneously, games run fast. System was quick before but this drive takes it to an amazing speed; fastest computer I've ever seen or used. And advice: Every week or so I will plug the hard drive back in and boot from it so I can grab any Windows updates and make a backup of the SSD drive. Then unplug it again. Easy way to keep current backups and much quicker than ... Amazing! Great drive
Drive loads faster than windows can even take to boot up. Times from button press to desktop is roughly 4-6 sec. sequential write is a little unstable bounces up and down during data transfer. Really fast drive, highly recommended for a boot drive and maybe a if your favorite games.
