You won't have to worry about leaking caps on this one for quite some time.The logic board has had all 17 surface mount electrolytic capacitors replaced with high quality solid Tantalum capacitors, and gone through ultrasonic cleaning.The sound is loud and clear.Logic board also has a new PRAM battery installed. See picsThe analog board has23 of the 25 electrolytic capacitorsreplaced with high quality, high temp capacitors, and the voltage was successfully adjusted per specs. The two that remain are CP13 and CP1, these are the giant 250V caps that don't normally need replacing.
The CRT is bright, sharp, stable and free of any burn in.The internal floppy disk drive has been cleaned, lubed and tested to work great. It reads, writes, and ejects without issue. All four rubber feet are present and in good shape.The 80MB internal hard drive is working great.This Macintosh Classic II has a couple minor cosmetic flaws. There are nicks on the right side of the case where something may have rubbed against it, and the reset/interupt switch on the lower side has a piece missing. see pics. Overall the condition is good. It was not retrobrighted. There are no major cracks, chips or pry marks.The Apple keyboard has been cleaned, tested and works great. It has about the same amount of yellowing as the Mac and matches quite nicely.If you're looking for a perfectly working Macintosh Classic II, this one should serve you well.I amalso including ten High Density floppy disks as shown.No guarantee on vintage electronics.
