This vintage IBM model M keyboard from March 1987 is in acceptable condition. There are missing keys and missing key caps. No cable is included. The plastic on the front has a crack, see photos.However, this keyboard has been tested and it is mostly working. All of the keys that are intact are working. The keys on the far left side of the keyboard repeat. For example, when you press the Q key or the W key, it will register as if you're pressing those 2 keys both at once. It is the same case for the 1 key and the 2 key and a few others. The keys are not physically stuck to each other, it is some kind of electrical issue. The keys in the middle and the right side of the keyboard don't have this issue. I tested this keyboard with an AT to PS/2 adapter and a PS/2 to USB adapter all plugged in at once. So given that and the age of this keyboard, it is possible that it was an issue with one of my adapters.
I gave it a quick clean with some cleaning wipes but it could certainly benefit from a deeper cleaning. Both riser stands are intact and they work great.Sold as-is for parts or repair. No returns. Thanks for looking.
