Ready to install. Removed from other Dell laptops. I was a refurbisher and these are leftover parts in stock. A great deal if you have a broken screen. Just remove your old LCD assembly by removing the battery, remove set screw in the battery tray, taking out the keyboard trim by hand prying, remove the keyboard, (2 screws) the rear cover (3 screws), unplugging the ribbon connector, unplugging the cables from the wifi card, then 2 screws to remove the LCD assembly. Use a plastic pry tool to gently separate and remove the Dell bezel, then 6 screws to remove the LCD and camera (you could just leave the camera and unplug the ribbon on it. Re-install the newer LCD, and reverse the procedure - your all set! These usually go for $30-50 just for the LCD for a decent one. This will fit a 1555, 1557, or 1558 this is a 40 pin cable/screen.
