I've decided to sell my one-of-a-kind Macintosh desktop computer. I have a newborn at home and need to free up some funds/space! The case badging is marked Performa 475, but the Quadra 605, LC475, and Performa 475 are all identical models (Apple's confusing marketing at its finest). I've done so much work to this Mac, making it quick, reliable, and so much fun. Here's a brief summary:

• Floppy drive tested to read, write, and eject disks
• SMD capacitor replacement - main logic board
• Radial capacitor replacement - power supply
• New PRAM battery
• Accelerated 33MHz CPU (stock speed is 25MHz)
• BlueSCSI v2 added in place of original spinning drive (16GB SD card installed)
• RAM upgraded to 36MB
• VRAM upgraded to 1 MB (supports higher resolutions and more colors)

This machine is a real pleasure to use, and it's snappy. MacBench tells me that it's 32% faster than a stock Mac LC 475, which is a noticeable boost! On the BlueSCSI, I've configured three hard drive partitions - one has System 7.5.5, one is running Mac OS 8, and one is set up for general file storage. Also installed are many useful utilities and lots of classic games. Not to mention After Dark screensavers with flying toasters. See photos of some examples of the preinstalled software. Only the Mac itself and the power cable are included in the listing. Monitor shown is only pictured to demonstrate functionality.
