This item has been relisted as the previous description was replaced by the new AI feature. My apologies for the inconvenience, here is the correct description.
The main issue with this IIc is that it does not appear to run programs, this was tested with The Oregon Trail and Microsoft Multiplan. You can see in the last image that the programs load, but then promptly stop, and will not go further. I'm not familiar with how to operate these older computers, so this was as far as I was able to test. This is being sold AS-IS, due to this issue and itsage.
Included in the listing is the Apple IIc, power cord and copy of The Oregon Trail.
---About the item per ChatGPT

The Apple IIc was a compact version of the Apple II series of personal computers, introduced by Apple Inc. in April 1984. It was designed to be a more portable and streamlined version of the Apple II series, targeting home users and educational markets. Here are some key points about the Apple IIc:

  1. Compact Design: The "c" in Apple IIc stood for "compact." It was significantly smaller and lighter than previous Apple II models, featuring a built-in keyboard and floppy disk drive.

  2. Portable: The Apple IIc was designed to be easily portable, making it suitable for users who needed a computer they could carry around. It was often referred to as a "luggable" computer.

  3. Technical Specifications: The IIc featured a 1.023 MHz 65C02 processor, 128 KB of RAM (expandable to 1.125 MB), and a built-in 5.25-inch floppy disk drive. It also had composite video output and supported color graphics.

  4. Expansion Ports: Despite its compact size, the IIc included expansion ports for connecting peripherals such as printers, modems, and external disk drives.

  5. Peripheral Compatibility: The IIc was compatible with many peripherals and software titles from the Apple II series, ensuring a wide range of software and hardware options for users.

  6. Legacy: The Apple IIc was one of the last models in the Apple II line, which had been instrumental in popularizing personal computing in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Its introduction came around the same time as the original Macintosh.

  7. Impact: While not as iconic as the original Apple II or as influential as the Macintosh, the IIc still had a significant impact, particularly in the educational market and among home users who appreciated its compact size and compatibility with existing Apple II software.

Overall, the Apple IIc was a notable entry in the Apple II series, offering a compact and portable option for users while maintaining compatibility with the vast library of software and peripherals available for the Apple II platform.
